Total Peace

8 years ago | 3042 Views

You get total peace of mind not by thinking about it or imagining it, but by quietening and relaxing the restless mind. The goal is for you to Learn to calm down the winds of your mind, and you will enjoy great inner peace. Worries, fears, desires, restlessness, nervousness drive peace of mind away.

Many people see their emotional state and life and accept it as it is.  “This is just the way I am or I guess I’ll have to live with it because this is as good as it gets”. Others believe that while there may be a way to make changes, one has to be either very spiritual, with a different family, different environment or wealthy enough to afford the best professional help.

Someone once said “emotional health” is a remote ideal that many people would want to have but very few people achieve it”

I see Emotional health as having total peace about who you are, what you are doing, and where you’re going, both individually and in relationship with others. It’s feeling totally at peace about the past, and future of your life. It is knowing you’r in line with God’s ultimate purpose for you, and being fulfilled in that. Its accepting where you are and taking the necessary steps to make a difference if you need to. When in Total Peace and you no longer live in emotional agony, you are a success.

I miss being home in Harare Zimbabwe because every time I visit I find my Total Peace. It’s not the money, the monetary treasures that matter, its finding laughter in everyday conversations, its going to worship with neighbors, family hearing the tambourine  and shouting for the Lord that gives me peace. What is peace to often are you laughing and just being grateful for life…Today Find your Peace its possible despite your circumstances.
